AWX: Web-Based Console Manager for Ansible

Tower of Power

The End Is Nigh

If the AWX Apache License 2.0 suits your needs, consider how best you can deploy it. Running within containers, it is lightweight to deploy and its engine is undoubtedly sophisticated. Ultimately, it is a feature-filled piece of software that answers many configuration management questions. Even the user-based controls aspect makes accessing a playbook across multiple teams a worthwhile feature. I hope you get as much from AWX as I plan to in the future.

The Author

Chris Binnie’s latest book, Linux Server Security: Hack and Defend, shows how hackers launch sophisticated attacks to compromise servers, steal data, and crack complex passwords, so you can learn how to defend against such attacks. In the book, he also shows you how to make your servers invisible, perform penetration testing, and mitigate unwelcome attacks. You can find out more about DevOps, DevSecOps, Containers, and Linux security on his website: https://www.devsecops.cc.
