Zscaler Adds Bring Your Own IP Capability to Its Zero Trust Exchange

Check out the options for keeping your own IP ranges.

Zscaler has added a new Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) feature, which lets organizations use their own IP address ranges for internet egress, to its Zero Trust Exchange platform.

Zscaler has provided dedicated IPs for a long time, the company notes, but “customers expressed interest in bringing their own IPs to support certain legacy workflows, regulatory environments, and partner systems that still require static, predictable and customer-owned egress IPs.”

According to Zscaler, dedicated IPs help address:

  • Deterministic identity for downstream controls
  • Clear lines of ownership, logging, and auditability
  • Operational stability across migrations
  • Regulatory and sovereignty requirements
