IPv6 is establishing itself in everyday IT life, and all modern operating systems from Windows, through Mac OS X, to Linux have it on board; but if you let IPv6 introduce itself into your environment, you could be in for some unpleasant surprises.

The US Department of Energy (DOE) in December issued a detailed report summarizing the Magellan project, which investigated the role of cloud computing, addressing the HPC computing needs of scientists funded by the DOE Office of Science.

In the last of this four-part series on using Warewulf to build an HPC cluster, I focus a bit more on the administration of a Warewulf cluster, particularly some basic monitoring and the all-important resource manager.
