Qloudstat Analytics Service Now Available

By

Iterate GmbH recently announced Qloudstat, a service for performing analytics of server-side access logs of cloud-hosted content.

According to the announcement, Qloudstat performs analytics not only for hits but for other metrics, such as bandwidth and transfer costs. Data is plotted in an interactive chart, timeline, table, or map in a user-friendly web interface. With Qloudstat, customers can see URIs and filetypes used, list referring sites, and search keywords, as well as compare CDN edge locations and visualize requests on a map. According to the company, queries can be made for any given time period with custom filters applied. Reports are continuously updated to give up-to-date statistics regardless of access volume or the number and size of log files.

To ensure security, Qloudstat accesses log files in third-party accounts using dedicated security credentials, and log files are fetched using a TLS-secured connection. Qloudstat integrates with cloud storage providers and content delivery networks currently supporting AWS S3, AWS CloudFront, Google Cloud Storage, and Rackspace CloudFiles (Akamai CDN). Pricing is based on raw log data volume with four different monthly subscription plans offered. A free plan allows sites with less than 100,000 hits per month to use the service for zero cost.
