Fedora is a Red Hat-sponsored, community-based distro that serves as a test bed for technologies that will one day be part of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The latest Fedora Server edition comes with several important changes for system administrators, including improvements to the Anaconda installer and many new security and cryptography features.

 

Endian Firewall 3.2.4

This firewall-focused Linux, which is maintained by security vendor Endian, gives you all you need to turn your own computer into a firewall appliance. The latest edition includes improvements to the Squid proxy server, additional features for certificate management, and extended support for hardware RAID.
