The tool aims to provide automated analysis of cross-domain network issues.

IBM has announced IBM Network Intelligence, a generative AI-native offering that analyzes network data to detect anomalies and identify network issues.

According to the company, IBM Network Intelligence is underpinned by IBM Granite Time Series Foundation Models, which are “customized and purpose-built for networking, pre-trained on high-volume telemetry, alarms, and flow data across diverse environments.

IBM Network Intelligence benefits include:

  • Accurate network observations with minimized false positives
  • Automated analysis of cross-domain network issues
  • Identification of rare or esoteric issues, which often escape the reach of current threshold-based tools.

And, it supports network data from the following sources:

  • SevOne®
  • Juniper Mist
  • IBM Cloud Storage Object
  • Network context documents
  • Data lakes

Network Intelligence is now available in a range of subscription options, including a freemium tier for testing in limited production settings.
