Microsoft Resolves Critical Link Vulnerability

Microsoft has published updates for its operating systems that resolve the critical vulnerability in the Windows Shell. This vulnerability allows shortcuts/links on drives to be changed in such a way that exploit codes can be executed. The updates fix this security issue on the operating systems from Windows XP to Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7.
