EuroHPC JU Establishes HPC Training Program
The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has launched the HPCTRAIN project, a professional HPC traineeship program that aims to connect “emerging talent with Europe’s leading supercomputing centers and industry to develop advanced digital skills and drive innovation.”
The program will provide 200 structured traineeships, matching students and early-career professionals with leading HPC companies and research organizations. According to the announcement, the program is delivered in two phases: 1) within the consortium’s established HPC hosting entities and 2) with third-party host organizations across Europe, including industry partners, SMEs, National Competence Centres, and Centres of Excellence.
