How to Get Started with the AWS Parallel Computing Service
Amazon Web Services recently launched the AWS Parallel Computing Service (AWS PCS) for HPC workloads.
According to the announcement, this new managed service “helps customers set up and manage high-performance computing (HPC) clusters so they seamlessly run their simulations at virtually any scale on AWS. Using the Slurm scheduler, they can work in a familiar HPC environment, accelerating their time to results instead of worrying about infrastructure.”
As part of this launch, the AWS HPC team has compiled a set of resources to help you get started, including:
- A detailed User Guide
- A step-by-step tutorial: Getting Started with AWS PCS
- Six new videos on the HPC Tech Shorts channel on YouTube, such as:
- A library of HPC recipes for AWS
