6 Kubernetes Distributions to Know
Kubernetes is changing how applications are built, deployed, and managed, says Serdar Yegulalp. The open source container orchestration system is “well-regarded, well-supported,” he notes; however, it’s “also sprawling, complex, and difficult to set up and configure.”
In this article, Yegulalp looks at six distributions that “incorporate Kubernetes along with container tools, in the same sense that different vendors offer distributions of the Linux kernel and its userland.” The distros include:
- Docker
- Rancher
- VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid
