CompTIA Updates Linux+ Certification
CompTIA has updated its CompTIA Linux+ certification exam to reflect “significant and ongoing” changes in the IT landscape.
Key focus areas of the new exam include AI, automation, cybersecurity, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scalability, and systems troubleshooting.
The updated CompTIA Linux+ certification “covers the skills needed to configure, manage, operate and troubleshoot Linux server environments while using security best practices, scripting, containerization, virtualization and automation,” the company states. And, it establishes a “skills foundation” for professional roles, such as DevOps engineer, cloud engineer, and Linux system administrator.
To help learners prepare for the exam, CompTIA has also introduced new self-paced CertMaster learning options, designed to accommodate various learning styles.
