Dynatrace Releases Agentic Operations System

By

The service is designed to reduce the risk of AI hallucinations.

Dynatrace recently announced Dynatrace Intelligence, a new agentic operations system offering AI-powered observability.

Dynatrace Intelligence was “built to observe and optimize dynamic AI workloads,” the company says, by combining “deterministic AI, grounded in real-time causal context, and agentic AI, capable of safe reasoning, decision-making, and action within defined guardrails.”

This approach “reduces the risk of hallucinations by maximizing the use of deterministic AI in its agents, allowing Dynatrace to deliver responses based on real-time data rather than probabilistic guesses,” says Bernd Greifeneder in a related blog post.

The system is built on the third-generation Dynatrace platform, including:

  • Grail: A unified data lakehouse that stores metrics, logs, traces, events, user sessions, and data with precise, contextual integrity.
  • Smartscape: Real-time dependency graph that continuously and automatically maps relationships.

Dynatrace Intelligence offers “deep, real-time visibility into system behavior and performance across cloud and AI-native environments, creating a real-time digital twin,” the announcement says.
