Docker Announces MCP Catalog and Toolkit
Docker is expanding its AI initiative with upcoming new tools built around the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
The MCP Catalog and Docker MCP Toolkit, which will be available in May, “bring Docker’s signature developer experience to the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem,” the announcement states.
According to a related blog post, the Docker MCP Catalog will serve as the trusted home for discovering MCP tools,” which are integrated into Docker Hub. At launch, the catalog will include more than 100 verified tools from Docker partners including Stripe, Elastic, Heroku, Grafana Labs, and more. The Docker MCP Toolkit will let developers run, authenticate, and manage these MCP tools simply and securely.
