Multiple identical copies of data are maintained and, during an outage, data continues to be indexed and searchable. For developers, Enterprise 5 includes a robust, versioned API and JavaScript SDK. SDKs are also available for Java, Python, and PHP. Each SDK includes comprehensive documentation, resources, and tools to help developers accelerate application development and testing.

Splunk Hadoop Connect provides bi-directional integration in order to easily and reliably move data between Splunk Enterprise and Hadoop. Thus, you can deploy Enterprise for collection, indexing, and analysis and forward events to Hadoop for long-term archiving and additional batch analytics.
